Chris Lavish has been djing since the age of 14, started playing House & Garage at house parties and a few times at U.E.L.(The University of East London). Then at 18 Chris paired up with older brother Neil Mitchell (former manager @ "Boogie Times Records" in Romford & current lounge resident Dj @ Andy C's "Ram Records" Night @ Fabric) to be come back up residencies @ Garage City Bar Rumba with Chrissy T, Dj Rupet, and Bobby & Steve.

1999 was a good year for Chris as he began his weekly friday night Uk Garage show 11pm till 1am on local legal radio station then called Active 107.5 fm, Soul City fm now called Time fm. This gave Chris some fundamental learning and unforgettable experiences in the world of radio presenting. This also gave Chris a chance to network with a lot of people in the industry as well as playing at lots of clubs and events including weekenders. During his time at Active fm Chris linked up with cousin Paul (MC Keflon) from The Genius Cru as a partnership on the radio & they started performing live together at big venues, events & charity events all over the country.

In 2002 the pair slit up, Chris went on to work on solo projects in the music industry while MC Keflon went on to work on projects with channel 4 which his currently still doing. Chris has also been a guest dj on BBC Radio 1 (Dreem Teem presents show), Galaxy radio in Birmingham (Andy Wards show) and came 12 out of 500 dj's almost winning a regular show on BBC 1xtra during the BBC 1xtra talent competition in 2004. Chris has also had his own radio show on top stations such as Flava, DeJa Vu, Chillin fm & Unknown fm. Nowadays you can catch Chris Lavish, Doing guest shows on, djing around the Uk & working on projects in the studio.
